West Ham interested in highly-rated Brighton winger

West Ham are reportedly interested in a move for highly-rated Brighton and Hove Albion winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, as they prepare for life in the second tier.

Following their relegation from the Premier League last season, West Ham are anticipating a tumultuous summer of transfer business, with wholesale changes expected across their squad.

Despite holding a significant financial advantage over their fellow Championship clubs this summer, the Irons will need to get their recruitment spot on, to replace a number of key stars who are edging towards an exit.

Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville, Matheus Fernandes and Konstantinos Mavropanos - among others - have all been linked with an exit from the London Stadium this summer, with wide positions specifically looking set to be threadbare without any incomings.

The Athletic have reported that one of the wide players of interest to West Ham this summer is Brighton & Hove Albion's 21 year-old winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, who spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Bolton.

Cozier-Duberry, who initially came through at Arsenal before moving to Brighton in 2024, impressed in the third tier, registering 23 goals and assists in 41 matches, as he earned a nomination for League One player of the season.

The winger has also had a loan at Blackburn previously, though this didn't go as well, as the Brighton man scored just once in 23 matches for the club.

Still, after his exceptional performances last campaign, it's no surprise to see the Championship's very best enquire about making a move for his signature, though it is unclear so far whether West Ham are seeking a permanent or loan deal for the 21 year-old.

Reports suggest that he has just two years left on his current deal with the Seagulls, though it has been said that they are in talks to attempt to secure an extension.

Primarily a right winger, although he can also play off the left, Cozier-Duberry could be the perfect replacement for Jarrod Bowen, with the England man heavily linked away from West Ham this summer.
