Aidan O'Brien has dominated the UK Flat Trainers' Championship for much of the 21st century.
The Ballydoyle maestro is one of just three Irish trainers to be crowned champion in Britain, adding to the titles won by Paddy Prendergast and Vincent O'Brien who won one and two titles respectively.
Aidan O'Brien won his first championship right at the beginning of the century in 2001 and followed up with a second just one year later. Another brace of titles arrived in the late 2000s before he really got motoring after 2015, topping the standings four more times to take his overall tally to eight.
That puts him behind only Noel Murless, Sir Michael Stoute, Sir Henry Cecil and Alec Taylor Jr on the all-time list.
O'Brien, along with Charlie Appleby and John & Thady Gosden are the only four names to get their hands on the title since 2014. John Gosden -- without son Thady on the license at the the time -- won it three years in a row between 2018 and 2020.
It was a golden era at Clarehaven, with the likes of Stradivarius, Roaring Lion and Enable landing a whole host of valuable contests seemingly month on month over the summer.
Richard Hannon Snr also had his own period of similar dominance, topping the standings four times in five years between 2010 & 2014. Canford Cliffs was a real flag bearer for the yard at the time, winning at Royal Ascot three times, the Lockinge Stakes and the Sussex Stakes.
28 years separated Stoute's first and last championship victories. His training methods stood the test of time, first named champion trainer in 1980 and most recently in 2009.
He regularly tussled with Cecil for the title; whom he is tied second with on the all-time list with 10 wins each.

Aidan O'Brien won the UK Flat Trainers' Championship in 2025 with a staggering prize money total of £8,150,178.
Although he often falls far beyond his rivals in terms of overall winners, successes in some of Britain's most lucrative races propel him to the top of the standings.
Jan Breughel, True Love, Delacroix, Scandinavia and Minnie Hauk all landed huge pots in the UK last year.
