We take a look at how many times trainer Aidan O'Brien has won the Epsom derby.
One of the most prestigious races of the horse racing calendar, the Epsom Derby takes centre stage on the first Saturday of June and whenever you are looking at a potential winner, you more often than not have a great chance of success if you choose a horse trained by the O'Brien.
Unsurprisingly, Aidan O'Brien has trained the most winners of the Epsom Derby with 12 victories to his name.
He claimed a fourth consecutive victory in 2026 when Christmas Day delivered a record-extending 12th Derby win for the trainer.
Galileo (2001) gave the Irishman his first success before High Chaparral (2002) made it back-to-back race victories for O'Brien.
After being made to wait an entire decade before striking again, O'Brien has won 10 of the last 14 renewals.
Camelot (2012), Ruler Of The World (2013), Australia (2014), Wings Of Eagles (2017), Anthony Van Dyck (2019), Serpentine (2020), Auguste Rodin (2023), City Of Troy (2024), Lambourn (2025) and Christmas Day (2026) make up the outstanding roll of honour.
