Sir Mark Prescott is eyeing up yet more riches on foreign soil with his star mare Tiffany.
The six-year-old broke through at Group 1 level last time out, landing the Grosser Preis von Berlin but connections have opted for a drop in grade as she heads across the Atlantic for a crack at the Kentucky Turf Cup Invitational Stakes.
Prescott has taken a lot of confidence from her win at Hoppegarten and has said that he can afford to be "a lot braver" with her campaigning going forward.
Saturday's contest is worth a cool £1.5m and should she scoop the £888,890 up for grabs for the winner, then she would almost double her lifetime earnings in one go.
"She's already over in Kentucky," Prescott told the Racing Post. "Now she's won a Group 1 you can have a fling! She earned a free ticket to Japan when she won the German race, so you can be a lot braver. I don't think Japan would suit her but this American job on Saturday might because it's like a point-to-point track, and I think she'll run once more after that as long as all is well."
"Winning her Group 1 was pure relief. It has taken me so long and she got a fantastic ride from Luke. He never left the inside and it was the best ride. She's had a few unlucky days but everything finally went right.
"The reason she's gone to America is that she's likely to travel well. She's been around every track you can think of without it worrying her. If ever you're going to take a chance on a point-to-point course for $2 million, this seemed to be the right mare."
It's likely that the daughter of Farhh will head for the Fillies & Mares Stakes on Champions Day at Ascot after finishing a good third in the very same race last year. The winner, Kalpana, has gone onto land both the King George and the Yorkshire Oaks this season, giving the form a real boost in the process.
Tiffany is all set to clash with Willie Mullins' Breeders' Cup Turf winner Ethical Diamond as he makes his way back over to the States after getting back to winning ways in the Ballyroan Stakes at Leopardstown.
He won't be the only British challenger present at Kentucky Downs, either. Ed Walker's Fort George remains in America for another race after finishing a narrow second to Ole Crazy Bone in the Bowling Green Stakes at Saratoga in early July.
