Thomas Tuchel has said the Manchester City verdict has been "a big topic in the camp" ahead of England's game with Croatia.
The club were found guilty of 114 of the 115 charges levelled at them with the verdict confirmed by the Premier League on Tuesday.
While most players and managers who've been asked about the topic so far have been evasive, Tuchel openly admitted it's something the squad are discussing.
"We had some time off between the matches and it is a big subject," said Tuchel. "Everyone speaks about it, so there is no other voice needed. I am glad to be not that voice. No one needs my half knowledge on the topic.
"Of course, the players talk about it. City players talk about it. We talk with them but only briefly. They are ready to go tomorrow. But of course, it's a big topic in the camp."
Manchester City submitted their appeal on Monday evening ahead of Tuesday's deadline, and the topic is set to dominate the sporting landscape for the foreseeable future, particularly when the Premier League returns next week.
The club are still waiting to find out sanctions, which could range from fines to expulsion from the Premier League, with a severe points deduction expected. There's a chance the points deduction is so big that City face relegation, throwing into question the future of almost the entire playing squad.
City's first game after the international break sees them travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
