We take a look at the potential options for Erling Haaland's next club following the uncertainty surrounding Manchester City.
The club have been found guilty on 114 of the 115 charges relating to breaches of the Premier League's financial regulations.
The punishment is yet to be decided and the process might not reach a conclusion for some time as Manchester City appeal against the verdict.
However, with potential sanctions including financial penalties, a points deduction, relegation and a transfer embargo, there are already question marks surrounding the future of the club's key players.
One of the players in the spotlight is Haaland, with media reports already linking the player with a sensational move away from the club.
Here are five potential options for Haaland's next club in the event that the club receives offers for their star player.
Erling Haaland Next Club Options
Real Madrid
It is entirely plausible that any deal to sign Haaland could eclipse the £198m transfer that saw Neymar join PSG from Barcelona in August 2017.
The club most likely to break the transfer record is Real Madrid and they have been linked with Haaland in the past.
With the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham also plying their trade at the Bernabeu, the potential acquisition of Haaland would make the Spanish giants a formidable force.
Arsenal
Football Insider have reported that Arsenal have already made contact with Haaland's representatives.
It is believed that there is no relegation clause in Haaland's contract and a cut-price deal would probably be Arsenal's best option.
A potential relegation for Man City would strengthen Arsenal's Premier League title ambitions and the capture of Haaland would make them pretty unstoppable.
Barcelona
Could Barcelona finance such a seismic deal at this stage?
They might have to offload multiple players to afford Haaland but, like Madrid, they have been linked with the player before.
Lamine Yamal has emerged as the latest superstar at the Camp Nou, but there is the sense that they need another world class striker to recreate past eras of dominance.
Bayern Munich
Harry Kane turns 34 in July and Bayern will have half an eye on a potential replacement in the near future.
Bournemouth's Junior Kroupi and Real Madrid striker Endrick are thought to be on their radar, but Haaland's potential availability will intrigue them.
Haaland has excelled in the Bundesliga before with Borussia Dortmund and he would be following in the footsteps of a number of great Bayern forwards.
PSG
The back-to-back UEFA Champions League winners have the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia to call upon in attacking areas.
In an era where their European rivals are constantly striving for improvement, the club cannot afford to rest on its laurels.
Haaland could be the signing that keeps them at the top of European football in the coming years.
