Grigor Dimitrov set up an interesting clash with fellow wildcard Arthur Fery after defeating former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini in the third round.
Dimitrov got off to a flyer, winning the first two sets and he looked to be cruising into the second week of the championship. Berrettini, however, fought back to win the next two sets 6-3 and 7-5 to force a decider.
The Bulgarian broke to take a 3-1 advantage and went on to eventually win the match.
Fery found himself two sets to one down against Zizou Bergs, but he won the last two sets via tiebreaks to secure his place in the fourth round for the first time.
Best Bet – Grigor Dimitrov to win @ 4/9

Best Bet: Grigor Dimitrov to win @ 4/9
In the fourth round last year, Dimitrov was leading eventual winner Jannik Sinner by two sets. He then had to retire from the match after suffering a shoulder injury in the third set.
This year, it looks as though he is determined to put that injury disappointment behind him and go even further. His victory over Berrettini was a tough slog, but it should give him plenty of confidence heading into this clash against Fery.
Fery had never gone beyond the second round of a Grand Slam prior to this week, but having been given a wildcard, he stands just one win away from the quarter-finals.
At one stage earlier this season, Dimitrov suffered nine consecutive defeats. With the chance to reach a first Grand Slam quarter-final since the US Open in 2024, expect him to showcase all of his experience and nous against his younger opponent.
Alternative Bet: Total sets – 5 @ 2/1
Both players had to do things the hard way in their respective third round matches.
Dimitrov came through a tough battle with Berrettini, while Fery won the final two sets to upset Bergs.
That victory for the Bulgarian may have taken plenty of energy and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see this fourth-round encounter go the distance.
Fery has dropped at least one set across all three of his matches at the tournament this year, and while he is 12 years younger than his opponent, the 23-year-old will have to be wary of how well Dimitrov is serving.
The two wildcard picks have an excellent opportunity to reach the quarter-final stage and set up a meeting with either Alex de Minaur or Flavio Cobolli.
From there, who knows how far either player could go, especially with the draw opening up, but this will be a long affair with plenty of momentum changes throughout.

Arthur Fery to win a set
Pays @ 16/5
So far at Wimbledon, Dimitrov has gotten off to a quick start in all three of his previous games.
He won the first set 7-6 against Australian Dane Sweeny in round one, won another tie-break against Jakub Mensik in round two and claimed the first set 6-3 against Berrettini in the previous round.
Fery, on the other hand, has lost his opening set in all three of his matches thus far. If Dimitrov wishes to overpower his younger opponent, getting off to another bright start is imperative.
The Bulgarian will rely heavily on his serve, which has been working well for him throughout the championship. In the first round, he finished with 23 aces, before recording just ten in the win over Mensik.
Against Berrettini, Dimitrov managed 14 aces and backing him to fire 13 or more against Fery looks a good option, especially as the match could well go into five sets.
To round this bet builder off, backing Fery to win a set is a wise bet. While he might be the less experienced of the two players, the youngster will be hoping to continue his stunning run at the tournament this year.
While this match might prove to be a step too far, there is no doubt he can claim at least one set during the encounter.
