ATP Queen's Club Championships Prediction and Tips

The grass court swing is underway with the countdown to the third Grand Slam of the year at Wimbledon now in full flow.

Some big names are bound for Queen’s Club in London this week for the ATP Queen's Club Championships as players seek to hit top form on grass ahead of SW19.

The likes of Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz have all used Queen's Club as a launchpad toward Wimbledon success, with the London grass courts traditionally rewarding aggressive baseline play and big serving among other attributes.

Czech star Jakub Mensik last month reached his maiden Grand Slam semi-final and his excellent 2026 can continue in west London.

ATP Queen's Club Championships Prediction

Best Bet: Jakub Mensik to win @ 9/2

Rising Czech star Mensik put up a personal-best in reaching the semi-finals of the French Open, his best run at a Grand Slam so far.

The 20-year-old is enjoying a fine 2026 already, having also gone to the fourth round of the Australian Open and the semi-finals in Doha.

He lost to eventual Paris champion Alexander Zverev in four sets on the clay, and had previously lost to the German in three sets in Madrid.

His semi-final run in Doha on the hard courts in February included a statement win over world number one Jannik Sinner in which he fired down 11 aces, saved five of seven break points and twice broke the Italian.

In dismissing fellow rising star Joao Fonseca in straight sets in Paris in the last eight, Mensik was commanding from the baseline and confident coming forward.

He doesn't have bags of grass court experience yet, but had a winning record on this surface last year and Mensik's progress in 2026, allied to the traits in his game, suggests he can maintain his upward curve in London, where he has a decent run of things in his quarter of the draw before possibly facing De Minaur in the semi-finals.

Alternative Bet: Alejandro Davidovich Fokina to win @ 16/1

Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina would prove a very popular winner should he land the Queen's title.

The 27-year-old world number 23 is the highest-ranked player without an ATP Tour title. His near misses include finals in Basel, Washington, Acapulco, and Delray Beach in 2025.

He has reached major finals and while traditionally tagged as a hard court player, he's a Wimbledon Junior champion (2017) and his record on this surface is solid despite a loss to Mattia Bellucci in Stuttgart last week.

He has wins over some top names on his CV and is a consistent presence at major events. Cameron Norrie stands in his path first, the Brit having withdrawn from the French Open with a rib injury last month.

Davidovich Fokina could come up against Tommy Paul in the quarters, a player he has yet to beat in five meetings, but he has shown he has the game to take out big names with wins over Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud and Matteo Berrettini in the past.
