The cream has risen to the top at Wimbledon with the top two seeds making the men's final and the Racing Post's Aaron Ashley believes world number one Jannik Sinner will maintain his recent dominance over Alexander Zverev and go back-to-back at the All England Club.
Sinner defeated Alcaraz to win his first Wimbledon title last year, but he has failed to add to his four Grand Slam wins, with defeat in last year's US Open final the closest he has come.
The Italian was a semi-finalist at the Australian Open and then disappointed at last month's French Open, crashing out in the second round to Juan Manuel Cerundolo.
Zverev went on to win that tournament, claiming a belated first Grand Slam crown having finished runner-up at Roland Garros on three occasions.
One of those defeats came against Sinner in the 2025 Australian Open final and, having lost his last nine meetings with the world number one, this looks a tall order for him.
Zverev has dropped just two sets on his way to the final, easing past Taylor Fritz and British wildcard Arthur Fery 3-0 in the last two rounds, but Sinner may be coming to the boil.
Best Bet - Jannik Sinner to win 3-0 @ 6/5
Alternative Bet - Under 4.5 breaks of serve @ 1/1
Bet Builder - Over 9.5 games in set one, 30+ aces in the match & 5+ match double faults @ 16/5
Best Bet - Jannik Sinner to win 3-0 @ 6/5
Having crashed out early at the French Open, Sinner raised concerns among his supporters as he needed five sets to see off Miomir Kecmanovic in the first round at SW19.
However, that has just steadied the Italian's focus, and he has come on strongly, winning his subsequent five matches routinely.
That is hardly surprising given the calibre of opponents he had faced up until the semi-final, but his 6-4 6-4 6-4 win over Novak Djokovic in the last four was a monster performance.
The world number one faced only one break point and fired down 16 aces, while losing only six of 51 points on his first serve.
Zverev may have gained plenty of belief from his French Open win, but he has lost his last nine meetings with Sinner and won only two sets along the way.
Alternative Bet - Under 4.5 breaks of serve @ 1/1
Sinner's straight-sets victory over Djokovic was a commanding display, but it still featured only three breaks of serve and this may follow a similar pattern.
The Italian did not drop serve against Djokovic, which means he has been broken only once in the last three rounds, and it could be tough for Zverev to create opportunities.
That said, Zverev has also been serving exceptionally well, being broken only five times across his six matches.
Tiebreaks and sets settled by only one break may be the order of the day.
Over 9.5 games in set one
30+ aces in the match
5+ match double faults
Pays 16/5
Breaks may be hard to come by, especially in the early exchanges, and taking over 9.5 games in the opening set appeals.
There should be plenty of aces, and reaching 30 is not unimaginable.
Sinner had 16 aces in his semi-final win over Djokovic while Zverev's 6-4 6-4 6-2 win over Fritz in the quarter-final featured 31 aces to show the total may not be as high as feared.
Finally, given the importance of holding serve, five or more double faults in the match may occur, as the pressure of the final could play its part.
