Since the inaugural edition of the T20 Blast in 2003, Finals Day has developed into a staple of the English cricketing calendar.
The Blast's showpiece event stages two semi-final matches before the winners of both fixtures meet in the final to decide who is crowned champion.
With demand for tickets increasing year-on-year, Finals Day is an entertaining spectacle that combines top-class Twenty20 cricket with live music, mascot races and many other wacky activities.
Finals Day will take place on Saturday 18th July 2026.
Times are yet to be confirmed but in 2025, gates opened to spectators at 09:00 (BST), with the first semi-final starting at 11:00.
The second semi-final commenced at 14:30 and the final got underway 18:45.
The showpiece T20 event will be held at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham for the 13th consecutive year.
Semi-final 1: Somerset beat Lancashire by 23 runs
Semi-final 2: Hampshire beat Northampton by 6 wickets
Final: Somerset beat Hampshire by 6 wickets
The first Finals Day was held at Trent Bridge in 2003 after Lord's was prevented from hosting the event when Westminster City Council refused to grant the venue an entertainment licence, and the Surrey Lions were the inaugural winners against the Warwickshire Bears.
In the next 10 years it would be held at Edgbaston, The Oval, Rose Bowl and Sophia Gardens before the ECB agreed a long-term contract to permanently stage Finals Day at Edgbaston, which has remained the home of the event ever since.
The Leicestershire Foxes, Hampshire Hawks (previously known as Hampshire Royals) and Somerset are the most successful sides in T20 Blast history with three titles apiece.
