Rangers remain in hunt for £10 million-rated Premier League winger

Brighton & Hove Albion have slapped a £10 million price tag on in-demand winger Amario Cozier-Duberry.

Journalist Pete O'Rourke has reported that Brighton have specified their valuation following interest from a number of clubs this summer.

It is believed that Rangers made an offer of £7 million at the weekend but their proposal was rejected by the Premier League side.

With interest likely to intensify in the coming days, the ball is now in Rangers' court to see if they are willing to increase their initial bid.

Championship

Cozier-Duberry has only made one cup appearance for Brighton and he has spent the last two seasons out on loan.

The 21-year-old featured 23 times for Blackburn in the Championship during the 2024/25 campaign, but it was last season where he showcased his potential at Bolton Wanderers.

Cozier-Duberry scored 10 goals in 42 appearances as Steven Schumacher's side secured promotion from League One via the play-offs.

Rangers boss Derek McInnes is desperate to add more quality to his ranks following an underwhelming start to the club's season.

The Gers have only picked up one point from their opening two league games, while they also dropped into the UEFA Conference League qualifiers after Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok knocked them out of the UEFA Europa League.
