Queens Park Rangers are on the brink of completing a deal to sign Boy Kemper from NAC Breda.
Kemper is the club captain of the Dutch team who suffered relegation from the Eredivisie last season.
The 26-year-old left-back has spent the last three seasons with the club after joining from ADO Den Haag in the summer of 2023.
He has made 82 appearances for NAC Breda and he contributed six goals and four assists last season.
Dutch journalist Joost Blaauwhof has reported on his X account that the deal for QPR to sign Kemper is on the verge of completion.
Kemper's contract expires this month and his availability alerted a number of clubs throughout Europe.
It is QPR who have seemingly won the battle as they target the top-six under Julian Stéphan next season.
The club are short of options at left-back as Rhys Norrington-Davies has returned to Sheffield United following the conclusion of his loan spell, while Ziyad Larkeche remains sidelined through injury.
The signing of Kemper fills an important gap and Stéphan will be hoping that he will provide a goal-threat from left-back.
