France have had their appeal rejected to overturn Michael Olise's yellow card ahead of their World Cup quarter-final with Morocco.
Olise was booked in stoppage time after an altercation with Matias Galarza, who threw himself to the ground, though replays showed Olise was only ever holding the Paraguayan's shirt.
France were hopeful of having the yellow card struck off after the decision was made to essentially overturn Folarin Balogun's red card allowing him to play against Belgium.
Yellow cards were wiped out after the group stage, but any player picking up two bookings before the semi-finals will receive a one-game suspension.

In an ill-tempered game, Paraguay's players somehow stayed out of the referee's notebook, but three of Didier Deschamps' men had their names taken.
It means that if any of them receive a yellow against Morocco, they will be suspended for the semi-final if they get there. Bradley Barcola was booked against Paraguay, but given his performance in the round of 16, and that of his replacement Desire Doue, Barcola may well find himself named amongst the subs against Morocco.
Manu Kone stepped in for the injured Aurelien Tchouameni against Paraguay, but if the Real Madrid man is fit, he'll return to the midfield, alleviating any worries of a suspension. If Tchouameni isn't deemed fit to start, however, the Roma man will likely keep his place in the starting XI.
