The first country to achieve 15 wins is guaranteed to win the Prestbury Cup, although sometimes a lower target is required depending on other countries.
It is commonplace at the Cheltenham Festival that one of the highest-profile trainers from the winning country will step up to receive the Prestbury Cup at a special ceremony.
The Prestbury Cup was first awarded in 2014 and Britain got off to a fantastic start by winning the first two editions of the competition.
Three Irish wins followed before an eventful 2019 Cheltenham Festival that saw the Prestbury Cup shared after each country finished with 14 wins.
Ireland have dominated the Prestbury Cup since by winning the last seven editions, including their comprehensive 23-5 win in 2021.
