Predicted Rangers XI to face Jagiellonia Bialystok in the Europa League

Rangers travel to Poland to face Jagiellonia Bialystok in the first leg of the 2026/27 Europa League third round qualifier.

The Gers failed to get off to a winning start in the Scottish Premiership under Derek McInnes on Friday night, managing just a point against Dundee United at Tannadice Park.

Lachlan Rose gave the hosts the leads in the first half, but the Glasgow-based outfit showed grit in the second half to get back into the game, finding an equaliser through Thelo Aasgaard.

Rangers turn their attention to the Europa League now, however, and McInnes will be desperate to return to Scotland with a lead, with the second leg of the tie set to played under the Ibrox lights on Thursday 13th August.

McInnes will be keen to create a winning blueprint in the early stages as Rangers manager, and it's hard to imagine he'll make any drastic changes for the side's trip to Poland.

The Gers boss will be forced into making at least one alteration in the defensive department, however.

Summer arrival Ben Godfrey was replaced in the 63rd minute on his debut for the club and is reportedly set to miss around four weeks with a hamstring strain. This could see Olwethu Makhanya -- who joined the club from Philadelphia Union in a deal worth £3m this window -- partner Emmanuel Fernandez in defence.

Dan Neil could be in line for his full Rangers debut after featuring off the bench against Dundee United on Friday night, while Cammy Devlin is expected to retain his spot in the engine room.

Djeidi Gassama and Ryan Naderi were both hooked at the break last time out after respectively underwhelming first half performances, and so McInnes may opt to bring Youssef Chermiti and Findlay Curtis into the starting XI.
