Following Mateus Fernandes' big-money move from West Ham United to Tottenham Hotspur, we have taken a look at the players who have played the most matches when representing the two clubs.
The top of the list is dominated by three strikers who enjoyed excellent Premier League careers.
Jermain Defoe is the player who has made the most combined appearances for Tottenham and West Ham since 1992.
The former England striker began his career at West Ham, where he scored 41 goals in 105 appearances before making the move across London.
Defoe enjoyed two separate spells with Tottenham and he scored a total of 143 goals for the club.
Second on the list is another ex England forward in the form of Teddy Sheringham.
Like Defoe, Sheringham represented Tottenham across two separate spells, which came either side of a trophy-laden period with Manchester United.
Robbie Keane completes the trio of strikers at the top of the list and he is also more well-known for his time with Tottenham.
The top five is completed by left-winger Matthew Etherington and centre-midfielder Michael Carrick.
Elsewhere, the likes of Les Ferdinand and Scott Parker also feature amongst the players to have made the most appearances for the two clubs.
