It will come as no surprise to see Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi top the charts for the most penalties taken in Europe's top five leagues since 2007/08.
Arguably the two greatest players to play the game, the duo played out a great rivalry on the biggest stage for much of this century.
Ronaldo and Messi are the only players in history to net more than 900 professional goals, with 971 and 907 respectively.
Of course, with the sheer weight of those numbers, naturally a lot of those goals have come from the spot.
Throughout his career, Portugal captain Ronaldo has netted a staggering 183 penalties compared to the 113 that Messi has managed.
Coming in at an 83.6% conversion rate, Ronaldo is marginally more successful from 12 yards than his Argentine counterpart who boasts a 77.9% success rate.
Elsewhere on the list, many of the great modern day goalscorers feature, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic (3rd), Harry Kane (5th) and Robert Lewandowski (7th).
While Ibrahimovic has been retired for a number of years and Lewandowski's powers appear to be waning somewhat, the goalscoring talents of Kane continue to thrive.
The Englishman is currently experiencing one of his best season's, netting an incredible 55 goals in 49 matches across all competitions for Bayern Munich.
