The Rolex Paris Masters is the ninth and final ATP Masters 1000 event of the season and the penultimate chance for players to seal the remaining qualifying spots in the season-ending ATP Tour Finals.
Alexander Zverev won the 2024 event after beating Ugo Humbert in the final.
The 2025 Paris Masters will begin on 25th October 2025 and end on 2nd November 2025.
The Paris Masters has been staged at the Palais Omnisports in Bercy since 1986. The indoor arena and concert hall has a capacity of more than 15,600 for tennis events and is located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, France.
The Paris Masters was first played in 1969 and has remained on the schedule in various guises since, now with a prominent slot as the ninth and final ATP Masters 1000 event of the season.
It is also referred to as the Paris Indoor event and as Bercy, distinguishing it from the French Open, also played in Paris in the spring.
Ilie Nastase, Andre Agassi, Roger Federer and Djokovic are the only singles players to have won both Parisian tournaments.
Tom Okker from the Netherlands won the first instalment in 1969, beating American Butch Buchholz in the final.
Arthur Ashe, Nastase, Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Agassi, Pete Sampras, Djokovic, Federer, Andy Murray and Medvedev are some of the great names to have won the tournament.
Home wins have come from Guy Forget, Sebastien Grosjean and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, while British successes were provided by Greg Rusedski and Tim Henman as well as Murray.
Djokovic won three times from 2013-2015 and is the only player to defend the title, while his tally of seven wins makes him the most successful Paris Masters player of all time.
Okker, Brian Gottfried, Agassi, and Sampras all have two wins, while Becker Marat Safin, with three each, are the other multiple winners.
