England beat Panama 2-0 on Saturday night to top Group L at the 2026 World Cup.
The Three Lions were made to work for their win, going into the half-time break at 0-0, cutting frustrated figures before Jude Bellingham put England ahead with an excellent finish from a corner.
The goal opened things up for Thomas Tuchel's side somewhat, with Harry Kane heading home from Bellingham's cross to secure the three points.

Despite the setback, England have the chance to secure top spot in their group when taking on Panama on Saturday, and likely have one eye on the World Cup knockout stages.
Bet on England at the World Cup.
Forced into a smart save in the first half but not tested too much throughout.
Didn't look especially comfortable at right-back, later forced off through injury.
Not having the best World Cup so far and will need to step up against better opposition.
Steady enough defensively and continues to be a useful outlet from the back.
Better in possession than Djed Spence, solid out of possession and provided an attacking threat in the air.
Lots to like about the composed, dictatorial nature of Elliot Anderson's performance, but not quite impactful enough with so much possession.
Went from tidy and composed in the first half to gamebreaker in the second. Broke the deadlock with an impressive finish and laid on the second.
Showed more promise than Noni Madueke but still getting back to full fitness and there's more to come.
Increasingly baffling that there was even speculation about who should start out of Morgan Rogers and Jude Bellingham. Far too ineffective in a key position.
Lots of promising runs and much needed directness, but not enough end product.
Another quiet first half, but grew into the game and put the tie to bed with a good header.
Provided more of a threat in possession than against Ghana, and may be called up as a starting right-back.
Better as a finisher than a starter against tired defences.
A better showing off the bench this time from the Arsenal man, who could have a big part to play in the tournament off the bench.
A fleeting cameo from the industrious midfielder, brought on to see the game out.
Only seen for a few minutes, but showed that his pace and directness could be a threat against weary defences in the knockouts.
