Tyson Fury is 4/6 to win a world heavyweight title from one of the four main sanctioning bodies in 2026.
Tyson Fury is back. Again.
After suffering his second career defeat at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk at the end of 2024, Fury announced that he would be hanging up his gloves, seeming confining a long-slated superfight between him and Anthony Joshua to the realm of what could've been.
On all four of the previous occasions in which the Gypsy King ostensibly retired from boxing he later reversed his decision and it appears that the latest will be no different.
Reports suggest that Fury and Joshua's camps are in negotiations for a fight between the pair to finally materialise in 2026, with Fury said to be preparing for a warm-up bout before the All-British showdown.
While the clash will be one of the biggest in British boxing history, it is unlikely to involve a world title - with Joshua's recent clash with Jake Paul unlikely to put him on any of the sanctioning bodies' radar.
Fury remains box office however, and he could end up fighting for world championship gold again sometime next year.
