Nottingham Forest will bid to make amends for their Premier League opener when facing Leeds United in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.
Oliver Glasner's Forest fell to a late defeat at the hands of Leeds on Saturday with Anton Stach's late free-kick all that separated the two sides.
With a new manager and a new system to incorporate, Forest should rotate fewer of their starters than Leeds, though Morgan Gibbs-White will miss Tuesday's affair with a minor knee issue with Callum Hudson-Odoi stepping in. Dan Ndoye was removed shortly after the hour mark and may be in line to start again, though Glasner is likely to give Omari Hutchinson a runout behind the veteran Chris Wood.
Ousmane Diomande, who watched on from the sidelines on Saturday, is in line for his debut, and Glasner might want to try out his new back-three in the EFL Cup ahead of their trip to Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
Ola Aina should retain his place at wing-back, though Luca Netz is expected to come in for Neco Williams. Xaver Schlager should make his full debut with Nicolas Dominguez in the middle with James McAtee and Ibrahim Sangare making way.
For Leeds, Lucas Perri could come in for James Trafford in goal. Despite the uncertainty around Lukas Nmecha's future, Noah Okafor's injury should see the German get the nod up front with Dominic Calvert-Lewin rested.
Sean Longstaff, who came off the bench for Brenden Aaronson at the weekend, should start on Tuesday with Dan James coming in for new signing Harry Wilson. The only change to the back three should see Joe Rodon make way for Nico Elvedi.
James Justin and Jayden Bogle might retain their places with Gabriel Gudmundsson not risked after missing the weekend's game with a thigh injury.
Matchwinner Stach should be given a rest with Ao Tanaka in line for a bow.
