Leeds United are looking to sign Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk on loan before the transfer window shuts.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Leeds are in talks with Chelsea regarding a temporary switch.
Mudryk is free to play football again and will be looking to kickstart his career this season.
The 25-year-old is unlikely to feature for Chelsea in the short-term and regular first-team football is needed if he is to rediscover his best form.
The Ukrainian international missed the entirety of last season but Leeds will feel that he could provide a spark over the course of the campaign.
Leeds preserved their Premier League status last season and the club are keen to push on this time around.
Daniel Farke's side started their campaign with a 1-0 victory away at Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
They are still in the market for reinforcements this week as they look to challenge for a top-half finish.
The potential addition of Mudryk would provide Farke with another strong attacking option, but this season could well be make or break for the winger.
