New signing Nicolas Jackson is line to make his Aston Villa debut against Arsenal on Monday night.
Jackson has completed his move from Chelsea for a club-record fee of £65 million.
The move conincides with Ollie Watkins' imminent move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, with Jackson effectively arriving at Villa Park as his replacement.
The 25-year-old has also been registered in time to feature in Villa's first home Premier League game of the season.
It has been a summer of transition for Unai Emery's side as Watkins looks set to join Morgan Rogers, Ezri Konsa, Youri Tielemans and Lucas Digne in leaving the club, while Emiliano Martinez could also follow suit by departing for Chelsea.
A new era at Villa Park has seen Johan Manzambi, Joao Gomes, Zion Suzuki and Matteo Ruggeri all join the club, while PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye has also been strongly linked.
Jackson arrives with a point to prove despite a decent return in front of goal during his time at Chelsea.
The Senegalese striker scored 30 goals in 81 appearances for the club, before joining Bayern Munich on loan last season.
The Holte End will be hoping that Jackson can step up in the absence of Rogers and Watkins as Villa look to kickstart their campaign on Monday.
