We take a look at the contenders to be the next Valencia manager after Carlos Corberan was dismissed following a poor start to the season.
The former Huddersfield Town and West Brom manager was dismissed with Valencia sitting bottom of the La Liga table after picking up just one point from their last five games.
Barcelona scored five past Valencia last weekend and it was a narrow 1-0 defeat at Sevilla on Friday night which spelled the end for Corberan.

Marcelino is the coach with the highest percentage of victories at Valencia since 2015, as well as the last to guide the club to European football and the last to win a trophy as they claimed the Copa del Rey in 2018/19.
Marcelino's previous relationship with the current board could be a stumbling block after he resigned from the role after only three games in 2019/20.
Ernesto Valverde
Another experienced manager who has previously been in charge of Valencia is Ernesto Valverde.
Valverde left Athletic Bilbao this summer and may not want to coach for a while, but he is undoubtedly one of the best Spanish coaches in recent times and Valencia could really do with someone of his stature.
José Luis Mendilibar
A high-quality coach who is used to battle against relegation, José Luis Mendilibar has gone on to win a number of trophies across the last four seasons with Sevilla and Olympiacos.
Now unattached, the 65-year-old would bring a wealth of experience as Valencia aim to maintain their place in the top-flight.
Thiago Motta
Following difficult starts in Serie A in Genoa and Spezia, Thiago Motta made history at Bologna by guiding the club to the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history in an historic campaign, whilst also playing very attractive football.
His last job at Juventus wasn't a great success and with an offensive style, Motta could be a risky option, but he knows La Liga well from his time at both Barcelona and Atleti.
