Betting has been suspended on Manchester City's next manager following reports that Pep Guardiola will leave the club.
The Spaniard will bring an end to his reign at City as one of the most dominant coaches ever to ply his trade in England. During his decade-long spell in charge, Guardiola has accumulated 20 trophies, including six Premier Leagues, five EFL Cups, three FA Cups and, maybe most significantly, City's maiden UEFA Champions League title.
With his storied era seemingly set to end this coming Sunday, betting on his potential successor has been suspended.

Over the years, various names have been touted as Guardiola's successor, including Vincent Kompany, Mikel Arteta and Michel, but it appears we're finally getting closer to finding out the answer, as Guardiola's departure grows closer.
Despite signing a two-year contract extension last season, it is now likely that Guardiola will depart at the end of the current Premier League campaign, especially given the former Barca boss has secured two more major pieces of silverware in both the EFL Cup and FA Cup, taking his overall tally with the club to an astounding 20.
At the top of the list to succeed Guardiola appears to be Enzo Maresca. Reports emerged following his departure from Stamford Bridge that the Italian had informed his employers he had held discussions with City, where he worked under Guardiola as a coach before joining Leicester City.
Maresca was commended for his work at the King Power Stadium, winning the Championship title in his only season in the East Midlands before taking the head coach role at Chelsea.
The Italian tasted UEFA Conference League success in his debut year with the Blues and achieved UEFA Champions League qualification before leading Chelsea to glory in the revamped FIFA Club World Cup in the summer of 2025.
The 45-year-old departed SW6 after a turbulent end to the calendar year which consisted of declining results and deteriorating relationships with the club's hierarchy.
