Ryan Naderi's first-half strike condemned Celtic to a second Old Firm defeat in the space of a week following their 3-0 defeat at Ibrox in the Scottish League Cup.
Celtic also suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros in the Europa League last Thursday.

Neil Lennon
Former Celtic midfielder Neil Lennon is currently the manager of Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic.
Lennon made over 200 league appearances for Celtic during his playing career and won the title five times.
The 55-year-old has also previously led Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title as manager on five occasions and a third spell in charge could be on the cards.
Robbie Keane
Robbie Keane has led Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ferencvaros to domestic titles in Israel and Hungary respectively.
He is currently looking for a new role after leaving Ferencvaros at the end of last season.
Keane has been linked with the Scottish Premiership champions in the past and the time could be right for both the club and the former Bhoys striker.
Shaun Maloney
Martin O'Neill's assistant Shaun Maloney has long been tipped as a future Celtic manager.
He will have learned a lot alongside O'Neill and he will feel that he is ready to make the step up.
Maloney has managed Hibernian and Wigan Athletic in his early career and he will feel as though he is now a better coach.
Kieran McKenna
After five seasons in East Anglia, Kieran McKenna departed Ipswich Town in May after leading the club back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
The 40-year-old stepped down to take a break from management but has since indicated that he would be willing to return to the dugout should the right role arise.
McKenna was previously linked with Celtic following Brendan Rodgers' departure last year and he may well opt to seize an opportunity to manage the team he has supported since childhood.
Kjetil Knutsen
Kjetil Knutsen has been linked with numerous roles in the past few months following his excellent spell in Scandinavia.
The Norwegian has led Bodo/Glimt to four domestic titles and inspired some memorable European campaigns.
The club reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League in 2024/25, before reaching the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League last season.
