According to reports, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are set to battle it out for 14-goal winger Anis Hadj Moussa.
The 24 year old, who currently plays for Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie, has reportedly chosen a move to the Premier League over a potential switch to Saudi Arabia, with Newcastle United and Aston Villa the two front runners.
According to Sacha Tavolieri via Sky Sport, Saudi Pro League clubs - including Al-Qadsiah and Al-Ahli - have seen offers for the Algerian international rebuffed, in favour of a move to England.
Despite this, it is said that Feyenoord have no plans to part with their star man, with the Dutch side set to demand around €35 million for his services.
Having made 17 appearances for his nation - scoring two goals - Anis Hadj Moussa has established himself on the international stage and is currently competing at the 2026 World Cup.
Last season, he made 40 appearances for Feyenoord across all competitions, scoring an impressive 14 goals and registering seven assists from the wing, including two goals in the UEFA Champions League.
Anis Hadj Moussa initially joined Feyenoord from Belgian side Patro Eisden for a reported €3.5m in 2024, with the Dutch side now aiming to make a 1000% profit on their wide man.
Across his career, the Algerian has shown the ability to play on both sides, although he has played more matches cutting in off the right wing on to his favoured left foot.
Both Newcastle United and Aston Villa have been widely reported as wanting a number of new wingers this summer, with the Magpies having lost Anthony Gordon to Barcelona and the Villans looking increasingly likely to sell Morgan Rogers.
The English and Saudi clubs aren't alone in being interested in Anis Hadj Moussa this summer, with LOSC Lille, Olympique Marseille and Borussia Dortmund all also reportedly keen on the 24 year-old.
