Jeremie Frimpong is a notable omission from the 26-man Netherlands squad for the 2026 World Cup with Ronald Koeman opting to leave out the Liverpool right-back.
Frimpong's endured a difficult year since joining Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen for £29.5m last summer and the 25-year-old has struggled for consistency with recurring hamstring issues plaguing his season.
His Liverpool team-mates Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo have all made Koeman's final squad for the upcoming tournament in North America, but Frimpong will remain at home.
Koeman's right-back options instead consist of Arsenal's Jurrien Timber, who has been deemed fit to feature in this summer's World Cup despite missing the last two-and-a-half months with a groin injury, and Inter's Denzel Dumfries, who is coincidentally a Liverpool target.
Netherlands' all-time leading record goalscorer Memphis Depay has also been included despite a hamstring injury which threatened to prevent his participation in the tournament.
Bournemouth's Justin Kluivert has also made the cut after playing in Bournemouth's final three Premier League fixtures following knee surgery in January.
There is a strong Brighton contingent within the squad with three Seagulls players included: goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, and defenders Jan Paul van Hecke and Mats Wieffer.
Sunderland have two representatives in the form of Brian Brobbey and Robin Roefs, with the latter yet to make his first senior appearance for the national side.
The 26-man squad comprises Manchester City duo Nathan Ake and Tijjani Reijnders, Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven and West Ham's Crysencio Summerville, despite his relegation from the Premier League.
Donyell Malen also features following a scintillating loan spell with Roma, with the forward making his stay at the Stadio Olimpico permanent on Tuesday.
The Netherlands begin their World Cup campaign on 14th June against Japan before taking on Graham Potter's Sweden in Houston and Tunisia in Kansas City.
Koeman's Oranje are 20/1 to secure their first World Cup triumph.
