It's a rematch of the 1999 Finals as the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs collide in the NBA Finals.
The Spurs were triumphant in five games against the Knicks 27 years ago to win the first of their five championships in the Tim Duncan era, but they haven't contested the Finals since the last of their titles in 2014.
The Knicks, on the other hand, have endured a drought far longer; they haven't even been to the Finals since their loss to the Spurs in 1999, and haven't won a title since 1973.
New York desperately craves a championship, but they're the underdogs heading into this best-of-seven series.
The Knicks did have the upper hand when the two teams met in the NBA Cup final earlier in the season, and they boast one of the best playoff stretches in NBA history: 11 straight wins, featuring sweeps of the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Opposing them, however, is the generational talent in Victor Wembanyama and a young Spurs roster who have demonstrated maturity beyond their years.
They took down the defending champions Oklahoma City Thunder in a classic seven-game Western Conference finals and while fatigue might be an issue, San Antonio have momentum following their series-clinching 111-103 triumph at the Paycom Center.
Wembanyama is the short price favourite to be named Finals MVP ahead of Knicks guard Jalen Brunson. The pair are also included in a Specials market to score 25+ points in each game, with Wenbanyama priced at 11/2 and Brunson available at 9/1.
There hasn't been a clean sweep in the NBA Finals since the Golden State Warriors dismantled Cleveland in 2018 and it's 11/2 for either team to win the series 4-0.
