The fourth victory of the series was a domineering 130-93 triumph at the Rocket Arena, which extended the team's current winning streak to 11 matches - the third longest in a single postseason in NBA history - after they comfortably dispatched the Philadelphia 76ers 4-0 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Awarded the Larry Bird Trophy as the series' Most Valuable Player, Jalen Brunson was two years old when the Knicks last reached the Finals, when his father Rick was a guard on the team.
"It means a lot, but I wouldn't be here without my team-mates, the belief they had in me," said Brunson.
"They give me the confidence. They let me be me. Most importantly, we all believe in each other from top to bottom. It's an honour to play with them."

The last time the New York Knicks won the NBA Finals was all the way back in 1973, which was the second championship in franchise history.
Red Holzman successfully guided the Knicks to glory just three years after their maiden title as they recovered from a Game 1 defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers to triumph 4-1 in the Finals.
The Knicks have featured in the play-offs a total of 28 times since their last championship and this is only the third time they've reached the Finals.
Led by future Hall of Fame center Patrick Ewing, the Knicks made NBA Finals appearances in 1994 and 1999, but were defeated on both occasions.
