Arsenal are reportedly willing to sanction the departure of Myles Lewis-Skelly as they look to recoup some of the £75 million spent on Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United.
The Gunners finally acquired their long-term target last week as the Brazilian was officially unveiled ahead of Arsenal's pre-season friendly against Borussia Dortmund, adding significant depth to an already well-stocked midfield department.
Lewis-Skelly slotted into the midfield pivot towards the end of the season as the 19-year-old was preferred over Martin Zubimendi and he even got the nod to start alongside Declan Rice in the UEFA Champions League final.
Making his breakthrough as a left-back, Lewis-Skelly signed a five-year contract last summer and is thought to cost in the region of £45m.

Manchester United
It's been widely reported that Manchester United are one of the clubs Lewis-Skelly has been offered to.
The Red Devils are in the market for a new left-back and have been heavily linked with a move for Newcastle United's Lewis Hall, but the Magpies' reluctance to sell and expensive asking price has made a deal difficult.
Lewis-Skelly would be viewed as the long-term successor to Luke Shaw, and his versatility would make him a valuable addition to Michael Carrick's squad - especially with the demands of a UEFA Champions League campaign.
Lewis-Skelly's mooted valuation also falls within United's financial range.
Chelsea
Chelsea hold a long-term interest in Lewis-Skelly and they will have no doubt been alerted to his potential availability.
The Blues have already signed 10 players - including pre-agreed deals - this summer for just over £270m and deviated slightly from their previous youth-focused recruitment strategy by acquiring 35-year-old Danny Welbeck and 36-year-old Jordan Henderson, but Lewis-Skelly might be a deal too good to pass up.
There is some intrigue around the left-back position at Stamford Bridge following Marc Cucurella's departure. Pep Chavarria is set to arrive from Rayo Vallecano and Jorrel Hato has been tipped to enjoy a breakout campaign in the Premier League. However, Xabi Alonso is likely to deploy a system with three central defenders, which presents a vacancy at left wing-back.
Everton
Everton were credited with an interest in Lewis-Skelly during the January window as the youngster experienced a lack of game time, but Arsenal were eager to retain his services as they pushed on all four fronts.
David Moyes has faced scrutiny for his cautiousness with trusting and developing young talents, and yet a player of Lewis-Skelly's calibre should slot seamlessly into the Toffees XI.
Left-back remains an area of vulnerability at Everton as Vitalii Mykolenko remains Moyes' first-choice left-back ahead of Adam Aznou, while the Toffees will benefit from Lewis-Skelly's skillset in midfield.
