In a breathtaking title duel that's swayed back and forth between Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia, only one race remains in the battle to win the 2024 MotoGP Riders' Championship.
Despite Bagnaia taking the chequered flag in the sprint in Barcelona, Martin was able to limit the damage by finishing third and it all comes down to the final race on Sunday.
We've looked at the permutations and what both riders must achieve if they're to come out on top.
Martin now leads Bagnaia by 19 points following the Barcelona sprint.
Only one race remains on the 2024 MotoGP calendar, which is in Barcelona, replacing Valencia, on 15th-17th November.
MotoGP Points System Explained
Martin requires only seven points from the final race in Barcelona, meaning a 9th-placed finish would be enough to secure his maiden MotoGP title.

Bagnaia simply has to win the final race and hope that Martin finishes 10th or below to retain his title.
If Bagnaia were to finish the race in second, he would require Martin to cross the line in 15th or below.
Interestingly, Martin and Bagnaia could tie at the top of the standings if Bagnaia wins the race and Martin finishes 10th, which would make Bagnaia champion on account of winning the most races this season.
