Legendary Real Madrid duo Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos hold the record for the most all-time appearances for Spain in World Cup football.
Both players represented Spain at four World Cups during their career and made a total of 17 appearances apiece.
The duo cemented their place as legends for their national team when they were part of the Spain team which won the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Casillas was also Spain's captain during the tournament and he lifted the World Cup trophy.
Former goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta and defensive midfielder Sergio Busquets are just behind Casillas and Ramos with a total of 16 World Cup appearances.
Barcelona legend Xavi completes the top five having featured 15 times in World Cup football for Spain.
Four more members of the 2010 squad also feature in the top ten, with Carles Puyol, Fernando Torres, Andres Iniesta and Xabi Alonso all taking their places.
The list is completed by former Real Madrid defender Fernando Hierro, who featured at three World Cups.
