We've taken a look back at the most valuable players in the Spanish top flight during the 2024/25 season.
The campaign kicked off with Kylian Mbappe completing his long-awaited transfer to Real Madrid following several years of speculation linking him with a move to the club.
While Real were unable to retain their LaLiga crown that season the Frenchman certainly held up to his end of the bargain in Spain, netting 31 goals to be named the league's top goalscorer.
However despite his remarkable start, Mbappe was not the most valuable player in the league during that time.
That distinction actually belonged to his Los Blancos team-mate Vinicius Jr, who narrowly missed out on winning the Ballon d'Or in 2024.
In all, seven of the top ten most valuable players to feature on the list played for Real, with the other three all playing for Barcelona.
