League Two Relegation odds

A gruelling 46-game League Two season is on the horizon and, for two teams, it will spell the end of their time in the Football League.

It was Harrogate and Barrow who suffered the drop last season, unable to extend their fourth tier stay any further after both achieving promotion from the National League in 2019/20.

After a numerous years circling the relegation drain, Newport County are fairly short to suffer the drop this season. This will be the Exiles' 14th consecutive campaign in the fourth tier and won three of their last four matches to remain in the division last season.

Accrington and Cheltenham finished nine and 10 points better off than Newport respectively in 2025/26 but, in a similar vein, have spent multiple seasons in the bottom half of League Two.

Colin Kazim-Richards was somewhat of an off-beat appointment at Crawley Town last season, however, he preserved their status as a Football League club after receiving the job with six weeks left in the campaign. He was handed a new deal off the back of his accomplishments and is preparing another relegation fight this time around.
