CR7 has a long and storied history with the Blaugrana. His rivalry with Lionel Messi as the two best players in world added even more stakes to a series of legendary El Clasico clashes throughout the 2010s.
While Ronaldo was a regular tormenter of the Blaugrana during his time in the Spanish capital, his first game against Barcelona actually came before he broke the world transfer record.
In April 2008 Ronaldo lined up against Barcelona for the first time as Manchester United faced Frank Rijkaard's side in a UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Camp Nou.
The Portuguese forward was immediately involved in the action after United were awarded an early penalty, but he sent his spot-kick wide and the game ultimately finished goalless.
While he failed to get on the scoresheet on his first appearance against Barcelona, Ronaldo would find his form in front of goal against the club in the ensuing years.
In total, the 41-year-old has netted 20 goals from his 37 appearances against Barcelona, including a brace for Juventus in his most recent clash with the Catalan side back in 2020.
