Millwall and Bolton Wanderers are reportedly both looking to secure the signing of Celtic striker Johnny Kenny this summer.
Up until recently, Bolton looked well place to secure the permanent capture of the 23-year-old after he played an integral part in their promotion from League One last season.
After impressing Martin O'Neill with a number of decent displays following his managerial return to Celtic, Kenny was then allowed to join the League One outfit on 2nd February and quickly established himself as a key player - scoring six goals in 14 games before cruelly suffering an injury that ruled him out of the play-off final at Wembley.
Early indications suggested a permanent move to the Toughsheet Community Stadium would suit all parties, however Alan Nixon has reported Millwall have entered the race to land the Republic of Ireland man.
Alex Neil's Championship side missed out on a first ever promotion to the Premier League and will be desperate to make the additions required to secure a place in the top-flight with promotion in 2026/27.
