Derby County are weighing up a move for West Bromwich Albion winger Mikey Johnston.
Journalist Alan Nixon has reported Derby's interest in the 27-year-old winger who has made 19 appearance for Republic of Ireland.
It is believed that Derby are looking to add attacking reinforcements to their squad in the coming days, with the Rams also being linked with Ipswich Town winger Anis Mehmeti.
Johnston initially joined West Brom on loan from Celtic in January 2024 and he made an instant impact as he scored seven goals in 18 appearances.
He has featured prominently in the last two seasons after arriving on a permanent basis but he could be set for an exit this month.
Johnston only scored twice in 25 Championship outings last season, but he registered eight assists as the Baggies preserved their status in the second-tier.
It is that creativity which Derby manager John Eustace is crying out for as he looks to fine-tune his squad this week.
Derby will be hoping to challenge for a top-eight finish after narrowly missing out on the play-offs last season.
However, their start to the new campaign has seen them lose 2-1 at Charlton Athletic on the opening day, before a 2-2 draw at home to Cardiff City on Saturday.
