This year’s Love Island contestants head to Mallorca at the start of June, looking to meet their perfect partner and scoop the major cash prize in the process.
The winners of the 2025 series will collect a cool £50,000 and presenter Maya Jama has promised the show is set to have ‘more drama’ and ‘more twists’ than ever before.
The 2025 series of Love Island will get underway on Monday 9th June at 9pm and will air on every weekday at the same time.
Here are the contestants that have been announced for this year:
A motivational speaker and author in Manchester, 29-year-old Sophie is “fun, spontaneous, who has a lot of jokes and who is attentive.”
Dejon is accustomed to the spotlight as the son of former professional footballer player Gifton Noel-Williams, who played for Watford, Stoke City and Burnley.
He is seeking “someone who is beautiful on the inside and out, looks after themselves and is healthy.”
A payroll specialist from Southampton, Meg is hoping to cash in when she enters the Love Island villa.
The 25-year-old wants someone “tall, with a nice tan, nice eyes and a nice smile”, with “a good fashion sense” and “a really good, funny personality that I can get on with.” Not much then.
Ben is a 23-year-old private-hire taxi driver from Gloucester and stated if his love was a company, he'd have "been out of business a long time ago."
A cabin crew member from London, 29-year-old Helena has a type for Northerners.
“I feel like Northern people have much more banter than Southerners,” she explains.
Tommy, the landscape gardener from Hertfordshire, will be hoping to sculpt a romance this summer.
The 22-year-old described his ideal woman as “very ambitious, with a big personality, caring, but also someone that doesn’t take themselves too seriously.”
Glaswegian Alima is a wealth management client services executive and envisions finding a "Disney prince" on her Love Island escapade.
A water operative from Stafford, Kyle described his flirting technique as pretty straightforward.
“I just go with it, find something to compliment a girl on and go from there," said the 23-year-old.
Hailing from Dublin but now living in Brighton, Megan considers herself to be a TikTok star after a video she made with a friend went viral.
Asked for her preference in men, the musical theatre performer and energy broker said: “I love a boy that’s a bit pasty, like Timothée Chalamet. I don’t mind scrawny, or a bit of a ‘dad bod’. I’m 5ft1 so any height really.”
Blu, a construction project manager from London, will be hoping his Spanish-language skills can charm the villa senoritas.
The 26-year-old is looking for “someone who is family oriented, has a lot of love to give and a lot of love to receive.”
22-year-old Shakira is hoping her hips don't lie and the marketing professional from Burnley has big ambitions entering the villa.
“It’s a busy love life but I’ve not found ‘the husband’. I’m looking for ‘the one’. I’m looking for the ring," she said.
A semi-professional footballer, gold trader and model, 30-year-old Harry from Guildford may look familiar when he appears in the villa.
That's because he's a body double for England footballer Declan Rice.
The 12th edition of Love Island will be available to watch on ITV2 and ITVX in the UK.
