Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City set for three-way race to sign Fulham starlet

Fulham face a battle to keep hold of Josh King, with a number of top Premier League sides reportedly interested in signing the 19-year-old.

After enjoying a breakout campaign at Craven Cottage last season King has gone from strength to strength.

While Fulham have endured a difficult start under new manager Alvaro Arbeloa, King has been a standout performer for his boyhood club.

He netted in their opening weekend defeat to Chelsea before scoring his second of the season at home to Crystal Palace earlier this month.

King's performances have led to calls for him to earn a senior England call-up, and are said to have drawn the attention of multiple top Premier League sides.

According to a report from Dean Jones, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are all keeping tabs on the midfielder with a view to potentially make a move when the transfer window re-opens.

A number of young English talents have found success at Borussia Dortmund and the Bundesliga giants are also said to be interested in signing King.

Last summer he signed a new long-term deal in west London to keep him at Fulham until the summer of 2029.

Fulham's current record departure is Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal paid a reported £50million for the striker in 2023 and any offer for King would reportedly need to exceed that figure to be considered.
