Leeds United and Ipswich Town are reportedly interested in signing former Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen from Union Saint-Gilloise.
Scherpen joined the Belgian side last summer and he featured 40 times for the club in all competitions during the 2025/26 campaign.
The Dutch goalkeeper only made one cup appearance for Brighton during a four-year spell at the club.
He was sent on loan to Belgium, Netherlands and Austria before leaving permanently ahead of last season.
His performances in Belgium have caught the eye, with Sky Sport Germany reporting that Leeds and Ipswich are monitoring the player's situation.
Standing at 6ft 9ins, Scherpen has always been a dominant goalkeeper but he has improved his game in the last 12 months.
