Dave Challinor will be in the Sheffield Wednesday dugout for the first time as the Owls travel to Oldham Athletic in the FA Cup today.
The visitors are on the periphery of the League One play-off places despite failing to win any of their last four league matches.
Former Stockport County boss Challinor has been brought into replace Henrik Pedersen and he has been tasked with leading the club back into the Championship.
For now, his focus will be on trying to secure a place in the second round of the FA Cup at Boundary Park today.
Hosts Oldham are currently 18th in League Two following their 1-0 win at Northampton Town on Tuesday.
