Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United lock horns on Sunday in the latest instalment of the fiercely-contested Steel City derby.
Wednesday find themselves rooted to the bottom of the Championship on -4 points but enter this contest with renewed hope after the club were placed into administration at the end of October to bring an end to Dejphon Chansiri's controversial reign.
As the club look to impress potential new owners in the coming weeks, they will be looking to put on a show against a Sheffield United side that are also stranded in the Championship's relegation zone.
It's been a tumultuous few months for the Blades, who saw Chris Wilder sacked in the summer after the club lost in the Championship play-off final in favour of appointing Ruben Selles, but the Portuguese coach lasted just six matches before Wilder was reappointed three months later.
It was hoped the return of the 58-year-old would spark an upturn in fortunes but Wilder has been unable to concoct a winning formula, with United picking up a measly 10 points from nine matches.
The current situations of the respective clubs means a lot more than bragging rights is at stake on Sunday and three points could be precious in determining any success this season.
Sheffield Wednesday last defeated their arch-rivals on 26th February 2012 when Chris O'Grady's header saw the Owls prevail at Hillsborough in a League One fixture.
Since then the two teams have met on six occasions, with the Blades winning three of those encounters, and the two Sheffield clubs had a run of goalless draws from 2018 to 2019 as they played out three consecutive stalemates.
Last season, Chris Wilder's side completed the league double over Wednesday for the first time since 2005/06, recording 1-0 victories at Bramall Lane and Hillsborough.
Wednesday haven't scored against United since a 4-2 defeat at Hillsborough in September 2017.
