Keith Deller MBE provides a 25/4 Bet Builder for tonight's World Series of Darts Finals Round of 16 clash between Gian van Veen and Chris Dobey.
The in-form duo only faced off last week, with world number three Van Veen getting the better of Dobey in the last eight of the Flanders Trophy in Antwerp. The Giant did not go any further in the tournament, however, as his progress was halted by Ross Smith for the second successive European Tour event.
2026 hasn't quite panned out the way that Van Veen might have expected after losing out to Luke Littler in the World Championship final in January, but he is still among the market leaders to land this tournament outright.
Dobey has been a beaten quarter-finalist in each of the last two World Series of Darts Finals but is always a formidable opponent in televised events.

I think this has the potential to be an extremely entertaining match to round off the opening night in Amsterdam.
Van Veen is starting to play better after the pressure of losing in the World Championship final had an effect on him, but he faces a very tough task in the form of Dobey.
"Hollywood" is extremely consistent on TV and is nailed on to average somewhere around the high 90s. This makes it a very tough match to call and I can see it going 6-5 either way, which is why I'm going to throw Over 10.5 legs into my Bet Builder.
Both of these are also massive 180 hitters, which makes the 7/2 for Over 5.5 total maximums of great appeal. During their meeting in Antwerp last week, Van Veen managed to rack up three 100+ checkouts -- one of these a 121 -- and I think that throwing in a highest checkout of Over 112.5 at 5/6 is a nice way to finish this Bet Builder.
The only previous two encounters between Van Veen & Dobey have been very close encounters; more of the same is expected on Thursday evening.
