Emma Raducanu is aiming to become a two-time Grand Slam champion when she heads to Wimbledon this summer.
The 23-year-old shot to stardom in 2021 when she became the first British woman to win a major singles title since Virginia Wade all the way back at Wimbledon in 1977.
Raducanu has been through various ups and downs since but looks to be getting right back to her best after a successful run saw her reach the final at Queen's.
Off the back of that performance, Raducanu will be the number 30 seed at Wimbledon. This significantly increases her chances of advancing through the tournament as seeded players avoid other participants ranked within the top 32 until at least the third round.
Although she exited Wimbledon in the third round in 2025, Raducanu emerged with plenty off credit off the back of her efforts at SW19.
Wins over fellow Brit Mimi Xu and 2023 champion Marketa Vondrousova saw her chart a path to the third round before an unlucky draw saw her come up against world number one Aryna Sabalenka, where she would bravely lose a thrilling encounter 7-6(8), 6-4.
Despite losing out to Donna Vekic in the final of Queen's, Raducanu remained upbeat ahead of her trip to the All England Club, saying: "You know, playing at home, there is no feeling like it.
"I was so just in awe of the atmosphere and in awe of the support I received all week. I couldn't really believe it. Even though I know I'm playing at home, it just trumps anything that you ever really think of."
Last year's winner Iga Swiatek is the number three seed ahead of the tournament this year, while Sabalenka and former champion Elena Rybakina are the top two seeds.
Vekic, who got the better of Raducanu at Queen's, is the 31st seed.
