Ipswich Town are keen on securing the signing of West Ham United striker Callum Wilson this summer.
Wilson is out of contract at the London Stadium this month and he looks set to become a free agent.
The 34-year-old former England international scored seven goals in 35 appearances last season and is looking to stay in the top flight.
Wilson was initially linked with a return to Coventry City after the Sky Blues secured the Championship title, but recent developments have seen the other two promotion clubs join the race.
HullLive reported that Hull City were looking to secure the signing of the veteran forward, while TWTD have now claimed that Ipswich are considering a move for the proven goalscorer.
Ipswich sealed their immediate return to the Premier League after grabbing the second automatic promotion spot in the Championship.
They are looking for a number of attacking reinforcements after their previous stint in the Premier League lasted for just a single season.
George Hirst and Chuba Akpom are currently the main forward options for Ipswich and they will need more quality to give themselves a chance of staying up.
Wilson is very much in the twilight of his career but he showed enough last season to suggest that he could still be a useful option.
With prices likely to once again be inflated this summer, the opportunity to sign an experience Premier League on a free transfer is no-brainer for the likes of Ipswich and Hull.
Meanwhile, West Ham are looking to establish a squad that can bounce back from relegation and the lack of a new contract emphasises that Wilson is no longer part of their plans.
