Everton get their pre-season campaign underway with a friendly away at Dundee on Saturday afternoon.
The Toffees were in contention for European football for much of last season but their form dipped in the spring and they eventually finished 13th in the Premier League.
David Moyes will be demanding a fast start in the upcoming campaign as he looks to silence the doubters who have questioned his long-term future at the club.
Their opening assignment sees them take on a Dundee side who have already been in Scottish League Cup action this month.
Dundee beat Airdrieonians 4-2 in their opening group stage game, before following up with a 5-0 victory away at Annan Athletic on Tuesday.
