Premier League champions Arsenal face FA Cup holders Manchester City in the traditional Community Shield curtain raiser on Sunday.

Both sides will be looking to lay down an early marker with the new Premier League season commencing next week.

The history books are a positive omen for Mikel Arteta's side with the Gunners winning all three matches as reigning Premier League champions (1998, 2002, 2004).

Man City are no strangers to the fixture having featured in six of the last eight, but there will be a new figure in the dugout on this occasion as Enzo Maresca takes charge of his first competitive contest.
