This son of No Nay Never made a highly promising start to his career with a maiden success at Newbury before two lesser efforts for his former yard on quicker ground.
He then ran a huge race on debut for his new connections at last month’s Ebor Festival when making the frame.
God Given Talent was sporting a first-time tongue-tie that day (retained here) which may have been one of the reasons for his return to form, as well as some softer conditions.
His Ebor Festival effort is certainly worth talking up as he was beaten by only a length despite meeting more than his fair share of trouble in the run.
He could arguably be called an unlucky loser that day and while this is clearly a tougher task, it’s fair to assume there could be plenty more to come for his new yard given that they often improve young horses they pick up from other connections.

The 1m2f handicap is another race that bet365 are offering an extra place on and at a standout price of 16/1, Strength Of Spirit could be worth chancing each-way.
Karl Burke’s representative had been generally progressive in defeat before belatedly getting his head back in front in a valuable handicap at Hamilton last time out.
He was good value for the winning margin that day and while he clearly appreciated the strong pace that the race was run at, it’s easy to see a similar scenario for him at Doncaster given that plenty of his rivals like to go forward.
A 3lb rise for that success certainly seems on the lenient side from the assessor and given that he’s a son of Ulysses, whose progeny often continue to progress throughout their two-year-old campaign, there could easily be more to come.
Burke’s yard could hardly be in better form, running at a 31% strike-rate in recent weeks and this gelding looks overpriced in the early markets.
15:00 Doncaster - Danielle @ 4/1
The ground was all wrong for Danielle at Glorious Goodwood when last seen and there should still be enough juice in the ground for her to be seen in a much better light on Thursday afternoon.
This Cracksman filly is highly effective over middle to long distances with some cut in the ground, especially on flat tracks like York and Doncaster, and she produced a career-best effort at this venue last season.
This isn’t the strongest race for the grade and she’s still relatively unexposed at this sort of trip so she could be a tough nut to crack if she finds any further improvement back at one of her favourite venues.
Furthermore, John and Thady Gosden’s yard have had an impressive 10 winners from their last 27 representatives.
