The Portland looks like a typically competitive renewal but there's plenty of pace in the high numbers and it could set up nicely for a hold-up performer drawn in double figures.
The one that appeals most is Rosario, who won last time out at Sandown.
Roger Teal's five-year-old fell a long way in the weights after his 2025 success at Goodwood before getting his head back in front at Sandown last time out when backed like a defeat was out of the question.
Rosario is only up 3lb for that success and is still 3lb lower than when beaten just half a length in last year's renewal of this contest.
With most of the front-runners drawn high, it's easy to see the race developing towards the near rail and it should set up for a horse that likes to come off the pace.
If this son of Harry Angel gets some luck in running, he should be capable of outrunning his price of 9/1 and with bet365 offering six places on the race, he can be played each-way.

Aidan O'Brien has taken out the last three renewals of the St Leger and he has another strong hand in this year's contest.
Christmas Day is the shortest price of the Ballydoyle runners at the time of writing, but he's shown his best form on slower ground than is likely on Saturday and his stablemate, Pierre Bonnard, may find conditions more to his liking.
The Camelot colt took a big step back in the right direction with his third in the Irish Derby and he managed to reverse placings with Christmas Day at York's Ebor Festival last month when chasing home Maltese Cross in the Great Voltigeur.
With no Maltese Cross to worry about, there's an argument to say Pierre Bonnard should be favourite for this contest after his run on the Knavesmire and he's often left the impression that he could be even better over staying distances.
The relatively dry forecast could be the key to him confirming the form with Christmas Day and there's a chance that Wayne Lordan, who rides the selection, had the pick of the four O'Brien runners.

Karl Burke's yard could hardly be in better form, running at a 32% strike-rate in the last fortnight and he has a fascinating contender in the mile handicap.
Inspired is the horse in question. The lightly raced four-year-old has been progressing through the ranks in the second half of this campaign, winning three of his last four starts, and he was good value for the winning margin when he got his head back in front at York on Sunday.
That looked like a tough race for the grade, so there could easily be more to come on just his ninth turf start and, most significantly, he escapes a penalty for Sunday's success that came in an apprentice rider contest.
From the same handicap mark this Saturday, he looks too big in the betting at 17/2 with bet365 offering five places on the race.
